Has your household completed the form?
Census officers have told us that around 94% of households in our part of Addiscombe and East Croydon have completed the census form. That still hundreds of homes where the census form hasn’t been completed. Croydon public services such as the local NHS Hospital, Council Services, and the Met Police are funded on a formula based on census figures. Undercounting of the population is a threat to the finances of these vital local services. So please complete the form or help those who might struggle with it. By getting to the census count closer to 100%, we can ensure that Croydon, as a whole, gets a fairer share of public resources.

Who is likely to be undercounted?
A group of residents that are at high risk of being undercounted are private rented tenants who live in shared accommodation or live Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO), which Croydon has a large number. If you are a landlord or agent please ensure that your residents have completed the forms to make sure that Croydon is given its fair share of resources.
